…ver felt any sense of meaningful connection to Black History Month, as it presented as performative, just shy of effectual and with short-lived remembrance of the wickedness imposed, for the sake of holding up the unicorns of change, magical enough to make a dent in the centuries old struggle for dignity, by sacrificing their own dignity, life and security for their progeny.
