Slavery existed. Lots of different groups were enslaved. Slavery was and is barbaric. I agree with all of that, but white people were never slaves. Europeans were slaves. People of French, Irish, Russian, and other national origins were slaves. The white race is the byproduct of America’s chattel slavery. It did not flourish before it. So, when you say Europeans or Asians were slaves, yes I agree. When you say white people were slaves that is where you are factually and historically incorrect. The best example I can provide is here in America. The only white people in America in 1680 were white men who owned land. If you were from Germany and were male, but did not own land you were not white. If you were from Great Britain and you were a female, you were not white. Only Europeans who owned land in America were white, and thus not slaves.
