The true sign of a “free” society is when all of its citizens have the ability to determine when and with whom they want to start a family. Now, with the decision in the Dobbs case, America is less “free” than it has been for 60 years. Multiple generations have lived in this country with the ability to access abortion healthcare when they needed it. That is no longer true today.

I am 47-years-old. In my life I have had over 20+ women, personally share their stories about why and when they had an abortion. I have heard other women share with groups or on videos why they decided to have an abortion. In my 47-years on this Earth, I have never heard one man, unless it was a disgraced Republican politician who ran on being against abortion, ever share that their lover, one-night-stand, spouse, fling, mistress, side-piece, wife, partner or any other term had an abortion. Why?
