I think being surrouned by black folk will aid in the transistion. Yet, despite me being surrounded by white people I still found the journey dizzying. However, that is an excellent bit of data.

The faliure rate is normal in America, but I wonder if the unspoken tension of whiteness and blackness played a factor?
