As a white person coming to America and not being aware of the customs and mores, you helped this black woman and she was blown away. Especially in a place with Memphis which has its own set of rules.

It reminds me of when Malcolm X went on the Hiajj to Mecca and ate with white people it blew his mind about the love and brotherhood he experienced and opened his mind to a new world.

That is what you did for that woman.
