I am faltered that you used my words. I too find that many Americans have a thin form of patriosim. Better yet, an á la carte since of patrisom. They want to pick and choose what they like about America and exclude the things that make them uncomfortable like slavery and the genocide against Native Americans. This flagrant and hollow form of patoritsim is gross. Honestly, if you asked these "patriots " how many amendments there are to to the Constitution they would not be able to answer correctly. That is who we are dealing with. Great piece.
