Two Jewish men died during the civil rights movement: Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwemer. These two men have been lionized in black culture. You go to any black civil rights museum and you will see them exalted.

I have yet to see any of the 763 black soldiers who were denied GI Benefits https://www.history.com/news/gi-bill-black-wwii-veterans-benefits, who were not allowed to vote, who returned to the crushing boot of Jim Crow. Where are we lionized. Not at any Holocaust Museums. Not at any of the liberated KLs.
